CycleWith the ALMA TAVERN located close to both the river Severn and Worcester and Birmingham Canal it is extremely popular with cyclists and mountain bikers of all ages.

The more serious road cyclists taking in the Worcestershire countryside, are also extremely welcome.

This is an ideal spot to drop in for a well earned drink or meal. There are plenty of out side tables providing a superb meeting point ahead of a day in the saddle.

CanalThe ALMA TAVERN, located close to both the river Severn and Worcester and Birmingham Canal, is a great stopping off point after a long day navigation the canal network. Just 5 munites walk from the Bilford bottom lock and moorings, this is an ideal spot to drop in for a well earned drink or meal. There are plenty of out side tables providing a superb resting place.

Directions: Leave the tow path via the footpath/cyclepath (dog bin) below the lock/bridge, follow the path to the right and continue through a wooded area alongside the Barbourve Brook. when you emerge in a housing area bear left and follow the road and through the bollards on the left - this is Crown Street. Follow to the end (by the garage) turn right and the ALMA is on the right. The Londis at the garage will also provide your provisions.
